What we've been doing lately / El que hem estat fent darrerament

I love Easter holidays for many reasons. M'encanten les vacances de Pasqua per moltes raons.

It is a time to be outdoors. Són dies per a passar-los a l'aire lliure.

To eat the traditional   "mona"
Per a menjar-se la mona.

To play with the water (one of Aitana's favourite activities).
Per a jugar amb l'aigua (una de les activitats preferides d'Aitana).

To meet new friends,   Per a conéixer nous amics,

   

unexpected friends,

amics inesperats,

and old friends.        i vells amics.

It is a time to admire beautiful landscapes...    És un temps per a admirar bells paisatges...

and to enjoy nature.  

i per a gaudir de la natura.







It is also the right time to stay indoors (especially if it is raining and you are not feeling very well).
També és el temps ideal per quedar-se en casa (sobretot si està plovent i no et trobes massa bé).
These are the projects I've been working on. Aquestos són els projectes en els que he estat treballant.

I've been painting some eggs and egg-holders for Aitana to match them by colour.

He estat pintant uns ous i oueres per a que Aitana els uneixca per colors.

I've been also preparing some other sensorial material for the future, when the primary and secondary colours are properly introduced and mastered.

També he estat preparant altre material sensorial per a més avant, quan els colors primaris i secundaris estiguen introduïts i assolits adequadament.

Si volem preservar l'interés natural dels nostres fills/filles per explorar el món que els envolta, hem de fer-los saber que les seues preguntes i inquietuds són significatives i ténen un valor. Aquesta és la manera de promoure aprenents de per vida.

If we want to preserve our children's natural interest towards exploring the world around them, we must let them know that their questions and enquiries are meaningful and have a value. This is the way to encourage lifelong learners.

Our homemade plasticine (play dough) / Recepta per a fer plastilina

A Aitana li encanta la plastilina i, de fet, a mi també! M'encanta el tacte que té, m'agrada esprémer-la a les mans, i m'encanta el fet que es pot fer a casa amb productes naturals. Ací està la meua recepta:

 

-200 ml d'aigua
-200 ml de farina de blat (és millor tamisar-la)
-100 ml de sal
-3 cullerades d'oli
-1 cullerada de cremor tàrtar (també es pot utilitzar bicarbonat. Veure aquest bloc.)
-5 (més o menys) gotes de glicerina
-Colorant per a aliments. (També es pot utilitzar colors trets d’ingredients naturals. Veure ací)

No he provat el bicarbonat (no sé si és tan bon conservant com el cremor tàrtar). Però et puc dir que aquesta plastilina dura setmanes (i fins i tot mesos!) si es guarda a la nevera.

Aitana loves plasticine and, in fact, I also do!! I love the touch it has, I like to squeeze it in my hands, and I love the fact that you can easily do it at home with natural products. Here is my recipe:

-200 ml of water

-200 ml of plain flour (it will help if you sieve it)

-100 ml of salt

-3 tablespoons of oil

-1 tablespoon of Cream of Tartar (you can use bicarbonate instead. See this blog.)
-5 (or so) drops of glycerine
-Food colouring. (You can also use natural colours out of natural ingredients. See here)

I haven't tried the bicarbonate (I don't know if it is as good preservative as the Cream of Tartar). But I can tell you that this playdough lasts for weeks (even months!!) if stored in the fridge.

I can't stop laughing at this video when I see it. Aitana is 24 months here and she is soooooooooo talkative!

Sovint mire i remire aquest vídeo i me muic de la risa. Aitana té 24 mesos ací i no para de xarrar.

Ací teniu un resum d'algunes de les activitats que hem estat fent Aitana i jo últimament. Com que ja fa temps que volia encetar un blog, tinc unes quantes fotos que pretenien convertir-se en entrades. Així que vaig a aprofitar per a incloure-les totes d'una. Espere que les disfruteu!

A son pare se li va ocórrer amagar unes monedetes i van estar jugant a gratar el femeret mentre cantàven "Vaig a casar-me amb la filla del rei..."

We were playing a game based on a book written in Catalan that we often read (Rondalles d'Enric Valor: La rondalla del mig pollastre) and from a video we often.

Jugant a la banyera sensorial amb els peixos de feltre que li vaig cosir. La idea la vaig traure d'ací. Cada peix té cosit un, dos, tres, quatre, etc. detallets (de l'1 al 10). Però encara és massa

prompte per què Aitana aprenga els números.



Fishing felt fish on the sensory bin. I took the idea from here. Each has some type of crafty embellishment to be counted (from 1 to 10). But Aitana is still too young for that.

 I tot açò és el que hem estat fent darrerament, a més de pintar, jugar, explorar, llegir, etc.

And this is all we've been doing recently, apart from drawing, playing, exploring, reading, etc.
